After Vancouver celebrates one of the first "Meatless Mondays", vegetarians attack Kitsilano butcher after cutting water buffalo on the same day.
Personally, I am not a vegetarian and probably never will be, not that I don't support it, but being a vegetarian doesn't make you suddenly the boss of everything meat eaters do. The farmers were too afraid to leave their homes due to the fact that they were afraid that vegetarians would come and set their animals free. I preferably eat ethically raised animals, and I also support the eating of vegetables, which I think we should do all the more often. But the rumor that they were treating the animal as if "Apocalypse Now" and parading it down the street is just wrong, and I highly doubt that a vibrant city like ours would allow anyone to do that.
